How to get here: When flying directly into Tortola you will arrive at Beef Island Airport (EIS), which is located next to Trellis Bay at the east end of the island. If flying to St. Thomas you might be meeting your yacht there, or taking a ferry to Tortola. The ferry ride is approximately 30 minutes.

Packing: The saying “pack light” has never been more applicable than on a sailing vacation. Most days are spent wearing a bathing suit and sunglasses and not much more! For ladies a sarong can become your best friend and is acceptable attire at beach restaurants and shops. It is recommended that each guest try to keep to one bag for clothing.

Special needs - life in the Tropics: Many people new to the islands are immediately bothered by mosquitoes. We highly recommend bringing some insect repellant wipes for your personal comfort. These won’t be restricted by airline regulations and will be near at hand if you should need them. Any prescription medications should be carried with you.
